That day

That day

The day was normal
Or so it seemed
As people said I love you
Gave kisses on cheeks
All the loved ones scattered out their doors
There was jobs to go to
Lessons to be learned
Not a single person knew the terror that lurked
Preying on a nation
Causing such hurt
In one brief second the whole world stood still
You couldn't help but cry
Even the hardest of hearts was made to feel
The evil that took us by complete surprise
Expected us to fall to their level
Never to rise
But like anyone whose ever been bullied
We have the last swing
When we stand United
We will never be beat..
God Bless America
