A Poem For Those Who Jumped

by Unknown
(New York)

I

did not bow

I

made a choice

I

would not fall to your terror

I

went out my own way

I

fell from the North Tower

I

watched the city fall away from me as I jumped

I

fell through the famous black smoke

I

jumped for my country

I

knew I would not survive

I

was a patriot to the last

I

jumped from a tower

I

do not give in

and

I

will be remembered

I

was there

I

went out through a window

I

was not killed by an act of terrorism

That

was one less victim

You’re welcome.
