Cards for Soldiers

More and more people are seeking ways to become involved in Cards for Soldiers and other support efforts. Classrooms of students, scrapbooking groups, mothers, and Americans in general want to let our military men and women know that we are deeply grateful for the sacrifices they make each and every day for our liberty and freedom.

What more heartfelt words can be spoken about Cards for Soldiers and other support efforts than those from Patti Patton-Bader, the mother of two American soldiers and founder of

May no soldier go unloved.
May no soldier walk alone.
May no soldier be forgotten,
Until they all come home

With love and respect,
Patti Patton-Bader

The websites below are some of the organizations that provide cards as well as care packages for our soldiers. They have been developed by ordinary citizens who saw a need and wanted to make a difference. Take a step today by finding a way through one of these organizations to express your gratitude.

Cards for Soldiers Resources – Their mission is: ”To help our fellow patriotic Americans thank their heroes, like our hard-working troops and veterans, as well as their military families who are so crucial to their success, by designing greeting cards with appropriate sentiments and suitable stationery products and invitations.”

In addition to offering a wide selection of patriotic and military greeting cards, they also office patriotic and military gifts. Ten percent of their profits are donated to military-related organizations. Great effort! Check it out.

Cards For Soldiers - We invite everyone to participate in the “Cards for Soldiers Program” Project. The project is two-fold: we make handcrafted and/or signed greeting cards to be sent to our troops that are deployed overseas. The hand-signed cards are usually Thank You, We Miss You, Holiday cards, etc. to let the soldiers know that we appreciate their service and miss them. The rest of the cards are left blank, so that the soldiers can send greetings cards home to their loved ones. The subject of those greetings is left up to the designer of the card. Our troops need cards to send home to their families as the facilities to obtain the greetings cards are very limited.

Soldiers’ Angels – This organization was founded by the mother of two American soldiers. Her website states that “Soldiers' Angels has quite a few teams that specialize in fulfilling a specific need for our troops. By joining one or more of our teams you too can get involved in sending handmade blankets to the wounded, supporting our military chaplains, helping our soldiers distribute toys and clothing to children in Iraq and Afghanistan, sending special cards to soldiers and much more!” Fantastic work! See if there is a team for you.

Thank you for visiting Cards for Soldiers.
